Information We Collect

Order information. When you check out, Stripe collects your name, email address, and phone number, and (if you select local delivery once that's available) your delivery address. We receive this information from Stripe to fulfill your order.

Payment information. We never see or store your full card number. Checkout happens entirely on Stripe's own secure payment page, governed by Stripe's privacy policy.

Newsletter signup. If you sign up for roast updates, we store the email address you provide, nothing else.

Your cart, on your device. While you're browsing, the coffees in your cart are stored in your own browser's local storage, not on our servers. We don't see what's in your cart until you complete checkout.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information above to:

• Prepare, confirm, and fulfill your order
• Send you an order confirmation and reach you about pickup (or delivery, once available)
• Send roast updates if you've signed up for our newsletter
• Keep records for accounting and tax purposes

We don't sell your information, and we don't use it for advertising.

Who We Share It With

We use a small number of outside services to run this store, and each only receives what it needs to do its job:

• Stripe processes your payment and collects your checkout details.
• Supabase stores your order and (if you sign up) your newsletter email in our database.
• Resend sends your order confirmation email on our behalf.

We don't share your information with anyone else, and we don't sell it.

Cookies & Local Storage

This site doesn't use third-party advertising or analytics cookies. The only thing stored in your browser is your cart contents (local storage) and, if you log into the internal order dashboard, a login session cookie — that one doesn't apply to customers.

Data Retention

We keep order records for as long as needed for accounting, tax, and business purposes. If you'd like your information removed sooner, contact us and we'll do what we reasonably can, balanced against recordkeeping requirements.

Your Choices

You can unsubscribe from roast update emails at any time using the link in those emails. To ask what information we have about you, or to request it be corrected or deleted, contact us using the details below.

Children's Privacy

This site is not directed at children, and we don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.

If this policy changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
